Soccer
It is known world wide as the "beautiful game" and it is the most widely played youth sport in the United States. Players compete for 90 minutes, cutting, sprinting, changing direction and changing speed while controlling the ball at their feet. Soccer requires physical strength and power to win battles in the air, muscle opponents off the ball, and accelerate past opponents on offense and defense.
These physical demands are the reason why more athletes sustain ankle and knee injuries in soccer than any other sport in the world. The SPC soccer program is a progression that leads to greater athletic skill, decreasing the risk of injury while increasing each athletes athletic performance.
- Decrease the risk of ACL tears through multi-directional single leg strength and stability.
- Superior fitness training to run opponents into the ground for 90 minutes.
- Change direction on a dime through multi-directional speed and agility training.
- Be first to the ball and accelerate by defenders with explosive power.
- Be strong in the air and win every tackle with superior strength and core stability.
SPC has soccer programs for athletes of all ages and abilities:
